LeRoy Bennet approached Image Engineering to help conceptualize and design an iconic show piece for Lady Gaga’s Joanne World Tour. Bennett wanted something truly unique and ground breaking, so the Image team of designers and engineers pitched the idea of a laser piano.

In 6-weeks the Image team was able to design, prototype, fabricate and program a one of a kind, completely custom laser piano exclusively for LeRoy. With Beam Composer controlling the lasers and a custom learning algorithm, Lady Gaga was able to individually control and change (44) laser “piano strings” that responded as she played each key.
